About the Book

It all started in 2020. The coloring book we now know and love was originally going to be a series of drawings to honor 26 Black authors, in the order of the alphabet. When I realized this drawing series could be used as an educational tool, I decided to combine my love for art, Black literature, and education into a coloring book instead!

Now here we are! Two years and over 300 copies and satisfied customers later, The ABCs of Black Authors is still going and growing strong! We hope to build our brand, and spread the word of this breakout coloring book across the nation- at a time we need it the most. Now, more than ever, it is ever so important to continue to teach and preserve Black history, present, and future.
